Working Foreman – Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Working Foreman to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on position requires a self-starter with strong leadership abilities and solid technical knowledge of production operations. The ideal candidate can work independently while effectively supervising and supporting a moderate-sized crew in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate production crew members to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules in collaboration with production and operations managers to meet delivery and output goals.
- Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and provide direction to maintain smooth production operations.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and industry regulations; promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Operate and instruct others in the use of light and heavy manufacturing equipment as needed.
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and assist with maintenance or repair tasks when required.
- Actively participate in hands-on production activities — this is a working position (expect to get involved on the floor).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a leadership or foreman role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active production environment.
